What It Needs to Run
– Windows 10/11 or Server (also works on Linux with Java 8+)
– Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8 or newer
– 1–2 GB RAM minimum (more for high-volume setups)
– Open ports: usually 25, 587, 993, 443 (adjustable)
– DNS setup (MX, SPF, etc.) if hosting external mail
No install wizard — just unzip and launch. Browser-based setup takes care of the rest.

3. Open the browser to http://localhost:5272
First-time setup walks you through domain, accounts, ports.
4. Choose mode:

A Few Things to Note
Xeams tries to do a lot — and mostly succeeds. But being Java-based, it’s a bit heavier than tiny SMTP-only tools. You’ll want to give it enough memory and disk space. And yes, tuning spam filters takes time — but that’s true of any mail system.
